This 26' Grady White is a donation boat. We are told that the boat originated in California. About 6 years ago, it was transported to a lake in Virginia. There are issues in the transom. Percussion sounding reveals delamination and probably that whatever core is in the transom has deteriorated.
The outboard corners of the engine well, in the swim platform, has fractures that go all the way through the fiberglass. Someone tried to caulk them, but it appears that it flexed too much for the caulking to seal the fractures.
Looking closely, you might be able to see stress fractures down between the drains for the well. The port tie down on the outside of the transom has about a 4 inch long vertical fracture about an inch to the left (outboard) of the tie down.
The engine well/swim platform is integral to the entire deck structure, so access to the inside of the transom is restricted. The bimini top needs replacing, there is storage below dinette, and the dinette cushions have some stains.
The trailer has mismatched tires on it, but did make a 200 mile trip to current the yard.
Please inspect carefully before making an offer.
