originally as an 87, but has had an 11
transom extension added at the Rybovich Boatyard in
2006. As reported, this Burger underwent a major refit
in 2010, which included interior joinery, soft goods
This Burger is a Semi-displacement, deep-V entry,
wide beam, dual helm stations at pilothouse and bridge
deck, three state rooms, crew and captains quarters,
five heads, main salon and dining area. The large
fuel and water capacity makes this Burger 98 a comfortable
and spacious motor yacht for inland, coastal and offshore
long range cruising.
The hull, deck
and superstructure are constructed of aluminum. Large
foredeck and deck walkways are surrounded with safety
teak and stainless steel hand and cap rails, ending
mid-ship at port and starboard sliding doors accessing
the interior. Aft open self-bailing cockpit accessed
down the teak overlay steps and aft deck.
width main salon, is accessed from sliding doors at
aft-deck and port and starboard decks mid-ship. Forward
of the salon is the formal dining area with table,
providing seating for ten and a walk-up buffet wet
bar at the forward bulkhead.
Midway to starboard, is
the stairwell down to the twin guest staterooms with
individual head and enclosed showers. Forward of dining
area, to port, is the staircase down to the engine compartment
aft and forward master stateroom with his and hers
heads and center shower/Jacuzzi.
Forward and to starboard
of the dining area, is the passageway, giving access
to the day head and pilothouse. Passageway leads to
the country-style, fully equipped galley, and spacious

crew and captains quarters, with shared head and enclosed
shower. To port is the aft facing steps up to the bridge
deck companionway. Large bridge deck with centerline
forward helm station and seating. Aft of bridge, deck
is the tender storing area with port and starboard davits
and aft stairs down to the lower aft deck.
