Description
The
Luhrs was sold as a fairly complete package in keeping
with the long-standing Luhrs practice of marketing a
well-equipped boat at an
affordable price.
Her cockpit
will handle a mounted chair and comes equipped with
fresh and salt-water washdowns, in-deck storage boxes
and padded coaming.
The flybridge
is particularly spacious with bench seating forward
of the console. The original layout features two staterooms,
a deckhouse dinette and oak woodwork. A much-revised
layout was introduced in 1988 with only one stateroom,
a more open salon/galley arrangement and an updated
decor with an absence of any wood.
The sportfisher also has a unique cabin ventilation
system with hidden air intakes located beneath the forward
bridge overhang. A good-running boat with brisk acceleration,
the Luhrs will cruise at 19-20 knots with standard 454
Crusaders gas engines and reach a top speed of around
28 knots.
Actual Condition
It is reported by the owner, that this vessel is in
good condition with a new
top, rugs, anchor windlass and other upgrades. Personal
goods will be removed at time of sale.

8'6" Achilles dinghy 2004 with a Toschi motor 2007
