General Description
The Catalina 270 starts with a stable hull form with generous beam, the fine entry forward delivers a hull that is wide at the sheer for maximum deck space. The deck is highlighted by a "big boat" cockpit with Catalina's hallmark full length contoured cockpit seats. The aft stateroom features a large double berth athwartships.

Actual Condition
Based on the owner's comments, this is a stock Catalina 270 with fin keel and tiller steering. There is a forward cabin with a v-berth and a main salon with table and small settees. There is a simple enclosed head. There is no damage to the boat, but it has not been used or maintained for two years. This is a nice boat that needs some TLC.

Equipment
Per the owner, the boat has wind, knotmeter and compass. There is the usual galley, but the stove has been removed and needs replacement. There is a Porta-Potty for the head. There is a mainsail and a roller furling jenny with faded sale covers.

Motors and Machinery
No statement of condition can be made regarding motors, engines or machinery, whatsoever. A photo may appear of the engine compartment and machinery, but
it is entirely the buyers responsibility to inspect and determine their actual condition.
* On occasion we receive unverified information regarding mechanical condition. It is reported by the owner, not Certified Sales, Inc. that: " It has an Atomic 4 gas engine which runs but needs attention. It was hauled and bottom painted two years ago and has been afloat at the dock in creek water for two years."
